Tutankhamun The most famous Egyptian pharaoh today is, King Nebkheperuru Tutankhamun. Tutankhamun is also known as King Tut. The name "Tutankhamun" is derived from hieroglyphics which means "Living Image of Amun." He was an Egyptian pharaoh of the 18th dynasty, he also was the son in law of Akhenaton. Tutankhamun was not a important King, he is well known because of his tomb, containing beautiful treasures. King Nebkheperuru Tutankhamun's tomb was discovered by an British archaeologists Howard Carter and Lord Carnarvon in 1922. King Nebkheperuru Tutankhamun lived over 3,300 years ago. The period he lived in was called the New Kingdom. During this period the Egyptians were worshipping multiple gods. Amenhotep had abolished this belief and had established a new order to worship the sun god Aten, which then he changed his name to Akhenaten, meaning "servant of the Aten." A new religion and capital was established in Thebes. His new city was called Akhetaten, meaning "Horizon of the Aten." Akhenaten and his wife, Nefertiti had six daughters, and no one to be the next pharaoh. Ankhesenpaaten was one of the daughters of Akhenaten and Nefertiti. Ankhesenpaaten married Tutankhamun. After the death of Akhenaten, Tutankhamun became the next pharaoh at age 9. Since he became a pharaoh at such a young age, he was not able to make decisions. Ay who was the father of Nefertiti and Horemheb who was the commander in chief of the army was in charge. Tutankhamun was taught many skills when he was young. He spent most of his years in the palaces of Akhenaten, he was tutored in reading and writing. King Nebkheperuru Tutankhamun unfortunately died at the age of 18. There is partial evidence that King Nebkheperuru Tutankhamun might have died of an accident falling off his horse or perhaps he was murdered. King Nebkheperuru Tutankhamun burial arrangements lasted 70 days. King Nebkheperuru Tutankhamun Tomb was located in the Valley of the Kings in Luxar Egypt. Howard Carter and Lord Carnarvon discovered King Nebkheperuru Tutankhamun's Tomb, his tomb contained the most beautiful treasures. It is said that it was a magnificent collection of Egyptian art. King Nebkheperuru Tutankhamun treasures are displayed in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. King Nebkheperuru Tutankhamun Tomb contained more than 5000 items. Although it was robbed at least twice right after King Nebkheperuru Tutankhamun was buried, but most of the kings treasure was still there. The most beautiful piece found in King Nebkheperuru Tutankhamun's Tomb is his coffin made of solid gold. It is 74" long, 20"wide and 20" high. King Nebkheperuru Tutankhamun was shown as Osiris holding the crook and flail. This was the traditional symbol that meant kingship. Another famous item of King Nebkheperuru Tutankhamun is the funerary mask. This also was made of solid gold and was inlaid with lapis, lazuli, cornelian, quartz, obsidian, turquoise and colored glass. King Nebkheperuru Tutankhamun's Tomb contained a set of Canopic containers. The calcite Canopic chest that had stoppers in the form of the king. There was four canopic coffins for King Nebkheperuru Tutankhamun. In addition to everything else found in King Nebkheperuru Tutankhamun's Tomb was the inlaid circlet that was found on the kings head. King Nebkheperuru Tutankhamun's outer golden shrine had standing figures dressed in Amarna style that represented the four goddesses Isis, Nepthhys, Neit and Selket. And just inside the entrance of the king was a figure of Anubis in the form of a jackal. Egyptians were probably one of the most important ancient civilizations of all time. They were definitely best known for their mummies and pyramids. The discovery of King Nebkheperuru Tutankhamun was one of the worlds best discoveries. This discovery was actually a miracle, the British archaeologists were so close to not finding King Nebkheperuru Tutankhamun's tomb, but it's a good thing they did. King Nebkheperuru Tutankhamun's tomb is absolutely a remarkable sight and the Kings treasures are so detailed and beautiful. Its incredible how the ancient Egyptian did all these things.

These resources acquired through personal success are controlled by the successor. In Carnegies time of 1889 wealth was measured to the equivalent of today but on a more superior scale. He argues that the unequal distribution of wealth needs to be resolved. The idea of distributing wealth evenly amongst the rich and the poor is inequitable to the wealthy. Tearing and destroying a prosperous persons wealth to justify the poor mans failure to succeed disproves the American dream of opportunity. Along with that disproportionate proposal rises a problem with the ethical standing of individualism, distinctiveness and uniqueness. Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness has been an American phrase since the birth of the United States. The idea of dissembling the wealth acquired by the rich and distributing it to the less fortunate contradicts this phrase. The three natural rights are guaranteed to all citizens, rich or poor. Both classes were given the ability to succeed in the areas of wealth, and to strip the accomplished of their wealth only to distribute it to others is a lengthened process called robbery. Combining class structure through equal wealth distribution is a disaster for individualism. Turning back ones ability to distinguish him compared to his challenger or neighbor allows conformity to ascend. This is another ethical contradiction of the American way where individuality is a lead trait. If the wealth structure were evened out, both classes would be tossed into a melting pot where working laboring people would be pitted against the average loaf or lethargic man. Bruhathkayosaurus - Facts and Figures Name: Bruhathkayosaurus (Greek for huge-bodied lizard); pronounced broo-HATH-kay-oh-SORE-us Habitat: Woodlands of India Historical Period: Late Cretaceous (70 million years ago) Size and Weight: Up to 150 feet long and 200 tons, if it really existed Diet: Plants Distinguishing Characteristics: Enormous size; long neck and tail About Bruhathkayosaurus Bruhathkayosaurus is one of those dinosaurs that comes with a lot of asterisks attached. When the remains of this animal were discovered in India, in the late 1980s, paleontologists thought they were dealing with an enormous theropod along the lines of the ten-ton Spinosaurus of northern Africa. On further examination, though, the discoverers of the type fossil speculated that Bruhathkayosaurus was actually a titanosaur, the huge, armored descendants of the sauropods that roamed every continent on earth during the Cretaceous period. The trouble is, though, that the pieces of Bruthathkayosaurus that have been identified so far dont convincingly add up to a complete titanosaur; its only classified as one because of its enormous size. For example, the supposed tibia (leg bone) of Bruhathkayosaurus was almost 30 percent bigger than that of the much-better-attested   Argentinosaurus, meaning that if it really was a titanosaur it would have been by far the biggest dinosaur of all timeas much as 150 feet long from head to tail and 200 tons. Theres a further complication, which is that the provenance of the type specimen of Bruhathkayosaurus is dubious at best. The team of researchers that unearthed this dinosaur left out some important details in their 1989 paper; for example, they included line drawings, but not actual photographs, of the recovered bones, and also didnt bother to point out any detailed diagnostic characteristics that would attest to Bruhathkayosaurus truly being a titanosaur. In fact, in the absence of hard evidence, some paleontologists believe that the alleged bones of Bruhathkayosaurus are actually pieces of petrified wood! For now, pending further fossil discoveries, Bruhathkayosaurus languishes in limbo, not quite a titanosaur and not quite the largest land-dwelling animal that ever lived. This isnt an unusual fate for recently discovered titanosaurs; pretty much the same can be said about Amphicoelias and Dreadnoughtus, two other violently disputed contenders for the title of Biggest Dinosaur Ever.
